Emerging Interior Architects from Monash University will reflect on their recent experience of designing and presenting a series of wearable activist costumes for a live art demonstration on Parliament House Steps last month.

The collective have been developing their awareness of critical issues surrounding Australia’s National Identity Crisis. As a group they designed and made costume letters that spelt out themes discussed such as ‘Fair Go?’ ‘Culture?’ and ‘Are You One Of Them?’

The project has been supported by the MADA Monash University Art Design & Architecture, Immigration Museum and documented by Christine Francis Photography & filmmaker Tom Mackie from the Film Amateurs Society.
