A sonic exhibition of music painted by your local DJs.
From a young age music has always been the focal point of Coopers life, from learning and studying the drum kit and guitar in his early school years to producing a very diverse portfolio of music in his later years – upon being introduced to parties across Melbourne that ran at 161, Killing Time and Revolver Upstairs, Cooper knew that making Deep Tech-House was the path he’d take. The sound of Peruw is characterised by deep brooding basslines, crisp and organic percussion, captivating atmospheres and overall attention to detail.

Jack Purdon is a 25yo producer and DJ currently living in Melbourne. Hailing from the UK’s underground music hub of Manchester, his introduction to techno and tech house was through outlets such as Sankeys, Warehouse Project and pop-up venues scattered through the city’s Northern Quarter. Upon trying his hand at production, Jack delved deeper into the more minimal, deep and dark aspects of house and techno, citing artists Chris Lattner, East End Dubs and Enzo Siragusa as some of his biggest inspirations. Expect to lose control of your tapping foot to deep, grooving basslines under crisp, minimal percussion.
Pandah (Houses in Motion) [https://soundcloud.com/housesinmotion/george-untz-pandah-for-the-heathim002]
Pandah, hot off the heels of the Houses in Motion single release titled ‘For the Heat’ and a wildly dynamic set at Strawberry Fields, has recently been staging driving, fierce sets at every stop on his expedition through Melbourne’s music scene. Spinning afro-beat, to house, to the more minimal and technical wavelengths of the electronic spectrum, Pandah, one half of Houses in Motion and curator of prophetic vinyl sessions is set to grace the speakers once more with a journey through all things housey.
Melbourne based producer and DJ, Akta, has constructed a synergy of recordings, record samples and synthesizers. His work as a DJ started in nightclubs, then smaller private outdoor events and then various festivals in Australia. His homegrown basslines vary between tantalizing techno and house styles. A shout out goes out to the KONTAKT collective who he has co-hosted numerous Melbourne warehouse parties with! Stay tuned for their next events.
