Trans-Melbourne Xprss’ primary drive is to act as counterpoint to chin-stroking, micro-genres and major music journalism-driven “edm” trends prevalent in contemporary electronica. We want to get some of that old feel back, so come down, free your soul and boogie to it.
TMX is a forward-thinking night of synthesized textures, robo-bass and drum machine metronomy. Our approach is influenced by the rich history of techno/electronic music from studios and clubs around the globe, with a back to basics approach to DJ’s, heavy tunes and hedonistic dancefloor good times.
