About The Vault
The Vault is a monthly get-together for creatively inclined folk held at Loop on the last Monday of the month. We alternate between guest speakers and discussion topics, but there’s always opportunity to network, promote what you’re working on etc. Our aim is to gather together creative people – be they artists, writers, musicians, media, marketers, entrepreneurs etc – who can meet each other in a friendly, convivial atmosphere to share and generate ideas.
Format of evening: The first 15 minutes is for informal chat before either the speaker’s presentation and Q&A, or nominated discussion topic, begins at 6.15. After that there’s time to promote or seek help on a project, network, suggest future speakers and discussion topics, or whatever else people feel like talking about (then cheap nosh nearby for those up for it!). Feel free to slip in and out to buy drinks etc during the evening.
Bring friends: The best salons grow by word-of-mouth, so we would LOVE you to invite a few friends who you think might be interested in coming along – anyone who is interested in the arts and creative pursuits, in sharing ideas, and enjoying interesting, spirited (sometimes heated!) conversation over a drink or three.
For first-timers, those coming alone: If you are interested in coming along but will not know anyone, just let one of the salon organisers know so we can look out for you, and make sure you are made welcome and introduced to your fellow Vaulters. Salons thrive on a friendly convivial atmosphere – even if there is heated debate going on!
