David Nichols is senior lecturer in urban planning at the University of Melbourne. His recent books include The Bogan Delusion (2011) and Pop Life (with Claire Isaac and Marc Andrews) (2011). His next book (forthcoming 2012) is Trendyville (co-authored with Graeme Davison and Renate Howe). His interests include urban (and suburban) activism, popular culture, regional communities and regionalism, representations of cities and society and community spaces. He lives in Broadmeadows with his wife Mia Schoen and various animals.
About The Vault
The Vault is a monthly get-together for creatively inclined folk held at Loop on the last Monday of the month. Our aim is to gather together creative people – be they artists, writers, musicians, media, marketers, entrepreneurs (etc) – who can meet each other in a friendly, convivial atmosphere to share and generate ideas.
