This show may well be Tailor Birds’ last show until Oct, as they are off to Europe for a run of shows in Aug/Sept. Come down, and join us for a night of music, sound, visuals, and a screening of some new films. A unique night that showcases all that is exciting about Melbourne!!

Earthwire :
Dark psychedelia that focuses on lyrical complexity and intricate sound development. A three peice, Melbourne based band that seeks to activley immerse listeners by way of promoting contemplation and emotional change through their music.
Influenced by the surge in digital music but still able to stay true to an organic feel and warmth that is born of improvisation, Earthwire deliver both a visceral and energising experience.

DD Dumbo :
“D.D Dumbo attempts to create unorthodox pop with a 12-string electric guitar, a couple of drums, a microphone and a loop pedal. Drawing musical influence from melodic “world” sounds to more poetically obscure artists such as Captain Beefheart.”

Tailor Birds :
Weaving together dynamic strings, punchy drum beats, heavy bass lines, and glistening vocals, Melbourne 4-piece, Tailor Birds, perform ballads, combining old and new classical / folk melodies. Using everyday objects such as wine glasses, paper, books, and bike wheels, as sound sources, these provide a back drop to their sound.
Tailor Birds’ live shows give listeners an experience of sound design and jazz artistry.
