| SHORT+SWEET FILM FESTIVAL MELBOURNE |

The Short + Sweet Theatre Festival has been around for 16 years and staged some 5000 or so ten minute plays. Following on from the legacy of its parent theatre festival, the Short + Sweet Film Festival Melbourne is dedicated to promoting local talent and showcasing it to the world. Melbourne winners will have their film screened at the Worldwide Short+Sweet Gala Final in Hollywood in August. It’s ‘invitation only and composed of winning films from the (growing) number of separate S+S Film Festivals from around the world. In 2017 that includes Sydney, Chennai, Mexico City, Manila and Los Angeles. By 2018 it will also include Brisbane, Canberra, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Singapore, Indianapolis, New Delhi, Bangalore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Kolkata.
