Holster those weapons, this isn’t about getting Gina Rinehart or Clive Palmer in your sights (regardless of how much you might want to). Shoot a Miner is the Melbourne Silver Mine’s annual portrait event for Melbourne film photographers to get together and photograph each other. SAM lets you try different photographic styles, learn new techniques, meet some new people and maybe have a go with their cameras. This year Shoot a Miner is expanding from its previous format with an online portrait exhibition that opens with the Night of SAM, Thursday 26 July from 6:30pm at LOOP.
