‘Shoot a Miner’ (or SAM as we’ve come to know it) is the Melbourne Silver Mine’s annual portraiture event. The Melbourne Silver Mine Inc. is a non-profit incorporated association of enthusiastic analogue photographers based in Melbourne Australia. We work to promote the use of analogue/film photography, often alongside modern technology.

SAM asks our members to get together and shoot one another.

The images that are submitted to SAM2013 will be presented at Loop for the ‘Shoot a Miner’ exhibition.

We invite you all to attend from 6.30pm, and the presentation will be repeated for the duration for the evening.
