The Royal Australian Institute of Architects invite emerging architects to address new concepts and practical issues in contemporary architecture on the first Monday of each month.
The Dulux Study Tour recognises 5 of Australia’s leading young Architects and gives them a unique opportunity for accelerated participation in the global architecture debate. The winners travel to three cities to meet their heroes, visit their studios and projects recently completed or under construction.
The 2012 winners visited Abu Dhabi / Dubai to experience first-hand the extremes of working in the UAE, Berlin to commune with the small start-ups and finished in London with a mix of small practices a
nd global brands.
Three of the 2012 winners are Melbournians and will be talking about their successful submissions, work to date, experiences on tour and what it’s meant for them so far.
