PROCESS is an independent public forum on architecture and related fields held on the first Monday of each month at Loop Bar, Melbourne CBD. Established in 2004 as an informal speaker series, the platform continues to stir local discourse, debate and discussion in the architectural and design community today. PROCESS is supported by the Australian Institute of Architects.

Let me tell you one thing. In this world we are living in, 98 percent of everything that is built and designed today is pure sh*t. There’s no sense of design, no respect for humanity or for anything else. They are damn buildings and that’s it.”
– Frank GehryThis June PROCESS gathers to discuss the status of Melbourne architecture with an event titled “PURE SH*T?”.

SPEAKERS:
CALLUM FRASER – Elenberg Fraser
TANIA DAVIDGE – Apple Federation Square
DAN SCHULTZ – Now Boarding
SURPRISE SPEAKER – to be revealed on the night!!!

The good, the bad and the just plain ugly – speakers will discuss some of Melbourne’s most controversial Cheesecake McMansions and large-scale developments, both built and proposed. What is the ambition or agenda of some of these major developments? Which begs the question…is it all PURE SH*T?

Come and join in the discussion at PROCESS this June!
