We were warned of this bushfire season; the season that is still burning. And in an emergency where the cost of the devastation is often measured using the metric “number of houses destroyed”, it seems natural that this be a place architects involve themselves. In the height of this 2019 / 2020 season, architects have begun to offer their services; pro bono and under the banner “Architects Assist”.
