PROCESS is an independent public forum on architecture and related fields held on the first Monday of each month at Loop Bar, Melbourne CBD. Established in 2004 as an informal speaker series, the platform continues to stir local discourse, debate and discussion in the architectural and design community today. PROCESS is supported by the Australian Institute of Architects.

The Dulux Study Tour awards five recipients each year an exclusive immersion into international modes of practice and production. Intended to inspire and foster the next generation of emerging architectural talent the awards effect is two fold. The Award functions as an indicator of a recipients capacity to contribute meaningfully to the profession and in doing so acts as a springboard for recipients professional recognition and advocacy efforts.

Kim Bridgland, Edition Office – 2018 Dulux Study Tour
Amy Muir, MUIR Architecture – 2013 Dulux Study Tour

Having returned to the familial Australian context, how do the emerging architects, innovators, advocates, designers and all round rockstars of the Dulux Study Tour intend to translate their new found knowledge into practice for the benefit of the profession and the general community?

Join us to hear from 2018 Dulux Study Tour recipient Kim Bridgeland for his personal account of the trip, its relationship to his practice so far and…. where to from here.

Joining Kim, tour alumni Amy Muir, current Victorian Chapter President and recent winner of the NGV Architecture Commission will bring some perspective insight into her career since the Dulux experience.
