What is the next frontier of spontaneous urbanism and civic interaction?  Are constructed environments our new virtual reality? With new consumer apps that GO enable the exploration of virtual space in real-time, are we covering new ground or simply retreating further into ourselves? How beneficial and incidental is spontaneous urbanism? How can architects and designers of urban environments, who constantly straddle the digital and real, contribute to this current conversation?
