Art + Architecture. What is the difference?

Art has had profound influences on the way architects understand contemporary society and the lens through which they see the city.

As the disciplines of art and architecture continue to overlap and intersect, what impact do these interactions have on the discourse and practice of each of these fields. With many examples of artists working in the spatial realm and architects producing art objects, how can we begin to define the boundaries between the two disciplines, or does a distinction even need to be made?
