Who needs architects? How are they appointed … and why?

This March, PROCESS examines the contributions designers make to projects in the commercial and community realms. We speak to the individuals who appoint architects in their ventures and ask the question – what value does design bring in each of their frameworks?

No doubt diverse collaborations has brought about incredibly interesting outcomes, from design thinking for not-for-profit collaborations, to the role of the architect within a business model. We will assess the successes from the facilitator’s point of view, and review areas which could be improved.
