October’s Process is all about glass, one of the oldest materials made by man and ubiquitous in our built environment. This month, we will examine the properties of glass – manufacturing, usage, and applications. We will see how designers use glass in innovative ways across scales and disciplines, from its treatment in buildings to the intricate handling in contemporary jewelery. Join us for a discussion on the similarities and differences, and how we can learn from the two extremes.
