Melbourne Poets Union presents a panel of poets from a range of backgrounds, working in different styles and aesthetics.

While no panel of four artists can be expected to represent an entire community, this one is a great starting point for discussion of how poetry integrates into the lives of it’s practitioners. Readings and discussion from Jeltje Fanoy and John Ashton, both longtime members of the poetry scene, and Benjamin Solah and Sharifa A Tartoussi- part of a newer incredible surge of young voices. Moderator Steve Smart has many questions and the audience will be invited to ask their own.
