FREE EVENT but you must RSVP via Eventbrite to reserve your seat- follow link below 🙂
Join us for a night of queer shorts in the second installment of LOOP’s Love Is Love campaign to support #marriageequality.
The night will feature short documentaries on gay liberation movements, the establishment of queer communities in regional Victoria, LGBTIQ acceptance in Jewish Australia and animations and shorts from LOOP’s family of emerging artists and filmmakers.
LOOP’s Love is Love campaign aims to build a community of artists, activist, academics and marriage equality supporters committed to sharing love and letting the LBGTI+ community know they are not alone.
Throughout the postal survey and beyond LOOP Project Space & Bar is a safe, supportive and inclusive space where #loveislove and diversity is embraced and celebrated.
During our weekly FREE queer arts events we are also actively supporting the marriage equality campaign and charities working with LBGTI communities. For every beer or house wine purchased during the night we are donating $4 to a nominated charity.
Funds raised for tonight’s event will be donated to Equal Love.
Join us before the screening to view a photographic exhibition on queer activism generously put together by Australian Lesbian And Gay Archives. The official screening will start at 7:00pm.
This is a FREE event. RSVP is a must so we can adequately accommodate you and avoid disappointment.
LOOP Project Space & Bar is a fully accessible venue.
Stay tuned for an official lineup.
Hope to see you there!
