Acidtrixx is a Sydney DJ who has played in many clubs along the east coast of Australia specialising in dark electronic music genres such as Industrial Techno and Darkwave. While being mostly familiar with those genres, any electronic beat that is ominous and brooding will also catch their ear as Acidtrixx is not shy about experimenting with other styles. If you like it dark, loud and chonky, Acidtrixx has you covered.https://www.facebook.com/Acidtrixx
Daydreaming is often considered as an array of thoughts that often distract an individual from the present. From the perspective of independent music producer, Callum Doig, it is far from a distraction; it’s an experience. Above all, his method of ascertaining said experiences of daydreaming is brought to life through electronic music coalescing with a torrent of nostalgia. As a result, we are acquainted with the Vaporwave and Future Funk chimera known as Daydream Deluxe.https://youtube.com/c/DaydreamDeluxe
Encrypter is a hardware-focused composer and producer of electronic music. Obsessed with texture and processing recorded sound since he was a teenager, capturing field recordings on his Walkman as fodder for creating garbled noisescapes through cheap guitar effects. In the years between then and now, he has released ambient, downtempo, industrial hardcore, electro, glitchy jungle, splittercore and a variety of takes on techno through his original works and remixes for the likes of Myler, Diarmaid O Meara and Weever. As a result of two burglaries and a stubborn refusal to back up his work, he has been forced to reboot his creative practice twice in a decade which has led to a current focus on recording tracks live with hardware or using unusual techniques like balanced feedback environments and generative composition to capture feelings of immediacy and energy. Elements of this style became the basis for the SEQARP label founded with fellow Irish synth junkie, Ikeaboy.Expect techno originals and synthy classics in a fusion of DJ set and live hardware performance.https://www.facebook.com/TheEncrypter/————————-
ZAFTIGZaftig is a Melbourne based DJ, producer and singer hailing from the LA underground. Expansive and cinematic with her music, she creates a tangible soundscape invoking a dark cosmic energy. Playing live hybrid sets that are enigmatic with analogue synths and emotive track selections, she takes you on a Carpenteresque, Night Rider journey to a salacious Italian discotheque. Heavy synths, retro drums, and fist pumps unite.https://www.instagram.com/zzaftig
Zerotonine is the host, resident DJ and runs Australia’s first and only monthly club night dedicated to synthwave, outrun and retro electro: Laser Highway in Melbourne. As a labour of love, he is dedicated to providing a unique experience for music makers and fans alike.
A veteran DJ and creator for over 15 years playing too many genres internationally and at home in Australia, he is in love with arpeggio basslines, warm synths, and driving drums; his style is inspired by 80’s movies, the Lamborghini Countach, boss fights, neon vectors, keytars, androids, reverb guitars, gated drums, cosmic phenomena, bleeps and bloops. Expect a range of sonic styles to get your feet stomping and head rocking from all corners of the retro-verse.
