For our second instalment after a very successful party in December:

A mainstay on the Melbourne music scene, Paul ‘Booshank’ Graham’s dedication to quality and artistry has led to countless invitations to DJ selections from his array of Hubble-funk, machinegun-soul, deathbed-disco, and Hennessy-house at Melbourne’s most loved and lauded venues over the past 10 years. Paul currently holds residencies at Revolver Upstairs as part of The Late Show family, one of Australia’s longest running club nights, who’s past guests have included Theo Parrish, Greg Wilson, Todd Terje, Idjut Boys, and Radio Slave, and curates South Side Hustle alongside Adam Askew; a six-year strong weekly disco and house-music night showcasing Australia’s most discerning black music DJs.  Keep an ear out for Booshank’s new vinyl-only EP on FIRECRACKER/UNTHANK set to drop in the next month, as well as a remix for Sam McEwin on Melbourne’s FINN AUDIO.

Bernadette is a percussionist (Untuned Ethnic Percussion) with over 14 years of performing and recording experience with many musical outfits across Australia in a variety of musical genres including Latin (AFRO-CUBAN), Cuban Jazz, Soul, Funk, Motown, AFRO-BEAT, Afro-Peruvian, Pop/ Covers, Morrocan/ North African, Brazilian (samba reggae, samba batucada) Afro-Funk, Nouveau Flamenco, traditional West-African & Middle-Eastern/ Arabic styles from small JAZZ TRIOS to large Big Band ensembles with live dancers.

Michelle Valenti
With a passion for subtle tones and the Avant-Garde, Michelle Valenti has weaved her way through the Melbourne music scene over the past 7 years DJing at respected venues such as Killing Time, 161, Revolver, Brown Alley, Loop, Karova Milk Bar, Section 8, Lounge, My Aeon, Kiss FM and Kiss My Grass. Currently producing under an undisclosed alias, Michelle creates diverse pieces ranging from electronic dance music to utter quirk plus compositions tapping into the Contemporary art scene including performances at the Melbourne Town Hall Organ and gallery installations. Often mixing with three decks, Michelle’s DJ sets bring forward the subtleties with deep grooves and a splashing of irregular beats in all of the right places.

Dark tech with a smooth edge is Panai’s recipe, and after quietly producing for the past two years, he is now ready to mix! Panai has had regular slots at some of Melbourne’s renowned venues including a recent mix on kiss FM. He is a sure fire for the dance floor creating an energetic and euphoric vibe which will undoubtabley take you on a satisfying journey.

Building on his Degree in Multimedia, Netzair has spent years experimenting, shooting and producing his own unique motion content. Crosscutting live, graphic compositions to sync, his style allows you to see beyond a reel of pleasant images – you see the music. Striving to make the night’s audio entertainment tangible, bringing sound to life, the visual experience is especially suited to an electronic environment where bass, glitch and snare can be translated optically. With a passion for live performance, it’s not uncommon to see Netzair pushing out vision for ten or more hours, on festival stages alongside International and local Dj’s, as well as club nights and community based video art events.
