For the 2nd edition of INSTASIS’ invitational series, we are proud to present two artists who’ve both garnered an enormous amount of respect in Melbourne’s electronic music community.

Since moving to Melbourne in 2004 from Italy, Chiara Kickdrum has evolved into an artist who prides herself on sound design, rhythm, and functionality. With an education in composition, records on Melbourne labels Temporal Cast and Butter Sessions, an immersive live set that has seen her play at Rainbow Serpent and close down Meredith, and a DJ vernacular that is as adaptable as it is dynamic, Chiara is sure to bring INSTASIS’ crowd to its knees, with DJ Kiti by her side.

Similarly, DJ Kiti has been a pivotal member of Melbourne’s electronic scene, with an almost incomparable legacy spanning some 16+ years. She has founded seminal nights Roxy and Loud at the debaucherous Honkytonks, supported everyone from Dax J to the Presets (not to mention DJ Hell in both Berlin and in Melbourne), and played at every Melbourne club you can think of (as well as many you can’t). Additionally, Kiti has also received acclaim for her edits of artists like LFO and Drexciya, built on her strengths as a producer, and begun work on her own Hot Psycho Records imprint which will surface in coming months.

Together, these two have a potent chemistry, and INSTASIS is delighted to give them 4 hours of power at Loop.

On supports, we have Malaysian-born emerging figure Different Shades, who is carving out a niche for herself in the mesmerising undertones of the electronic music spectrum, as well as HAADA, representing INSTASIS’ brooding, palpitating sound as one of its founders.

This night will represent artistic passion, supreme danceability, and captivating variety, all housed within the tight-knit walls of Loop Bar. Do not sleep on this.
