Storytelling underpins how we interpret the world around us and connect as people.
FLAT CHATS III will explore various mediums through which this ancient form of communication persists in our community and influences various disciplines. Whether it be an activity of personal expression, visual communication, social awareness or cultural identification, creating a narrative is crucial to how we connect as people. This evening will aim to evaluate the various modes of storytelling and consider its impact on modern life.
HOST: Rob Summons
Rob is an emerging Australian writer with a background in film, television and journalism. His experience in producing a variety of short documentaries coupled with his academic studies in the area has given him a broad insight into the medium of storytelling.
