Action, horror, animation, comedy, doco, music, visual arts and everything in between is welcomed on Filmonik’s monthly open screen for an evening of surprising fresh new films made by local Melbourne filmmakers. This will be the 32nd screening and once again we’ll prove that uncurated, spontaneously submitted short films of any genre and of all levels create awesome and slightly crazy screenings for the public and for the filmmakers. Filmmakers: Connect your stories or visual experiments with our audience, participate in a short Q&A with the host and the audience and meet future collaborators. You can even test an unpolished version of your big festival film and gather feedback to finalise it. Arrive early on the night with your 5 minutes or less .MP4 film on a USB key or SD card ready to transfer. Filmonik is non competitive and part of the worldwide Kino movement.
