After a super cool 2016 (for Filmonik, at least) we’re back in January for more short film madness. Filmonik is a free monthly short film screening of 5 to 6 minute or less short films. Uncurated, spontaneously submitted short films of any genre and of all filmmaking levels create awesome and slightly crazy screenings for the public and for the filmmakers who climb on stage after their film for a quick QA with host Iphigenie Frey. You can see (and screen) comedies, horror, drama, visual experimentations, docos, animations, action, and everything in between.
Filmonik is part of the worldwide Kino movement active in more than 70 cities around the world (http://www.planetekino.com/). It’s like a non-competitive film fest without the entry fees.
