Incorporating loop pedals, found sounds, vocal manipulation, cinematic synthesis an acoustic guitar with a built innovation launchpad and even a trumpet for good measure, An Electronic Feast @ Loop will showcase emerging and established Melbourne experimentalists to delight your senses.

Artists include Honor Eastly with her stripped back yet haunting vocal loop pedal work and quirky banter, Zol Balint who combines organic found sounds with his custom built launchpad guitar, Winterpark, the cinematic solo project of Ableton aficionado Matt Ridgeway and Ninoosh, who’s eclectic electronic style ranges from the melancholic to the truly upbeat, trumpet included.

Honor Eastly

As an artist, performer and musician, Honor Eastly’s work is always marked by painful honesty. Sometimes tongue-in-cheek, sometimes sombre, but always revealing. Think Bjork meets Sia with a loop pedal and some haunting melodies.

Growing up on a diet of her father’s Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream and Jean Michel Jarre vinyls, Ninoosh, AKA Anya Trybala, was always drawn to the unearthly noise of synthesisers, which form the sounds she crafts today, with a healthy blend of acoustic instruments and her haunting voice.

Winterpark is the sonically immersive electronica act of producer and guitarist Matt Ridgway.

Zol Balint

Having designed an instrument to bridge acoustic and electronic performance, Zol Balint creates earthy, guitar-driven electronic music. His improvised live show combines guitar playing with live sampling, looping and manipulating sounds into a blend of styles influenced by afro-jazz, hip hop & experimental electronic artists.
