DOMINGO TROPICAL #1
Come and soak up the first DOMINGO TROPICAL dance party at LOOP BAR. We are pleased to bring you an outstanding lineup of dance music to move to.
FREEJACK (Future Archaic) LIVE
Freejack brings you future beats, built before your eyes on a collection of various hardware synthesis. Techno from the beyond, not afraid to get dirty Freejack will have you shaking it before you know it.
WILSON (Ah Puch! Records) LIVE
WiLSON is Lochie Bradfield (‘Prophets‘, ‘Garang Garang’) & Ross Kingston (‘Slum Boys’). Together they blend irregular measurements of psychedelic pop, surrealist funk, and dubby dance fun with original, neologic vocal stylings – right here on Planet Earth.
NARAM (NZ / Jahtari)
Naram has crossed the Tasman and has relocated his digital dub laboratory to Melbourne. Armed with a deep selection of vintage dancehall, Naram, whose debut LP is about to drop on Leipzig’s Jahtari label, will bring the bass in a concrete jungle style.
LULU Q (Thunderrclapp / Collectors Set)
Lucreccia Quintanilla, the brains behind the Collectors Set series, and key collaborator in Thunderclapp, will pull out one of her wild selections of musics ranging from disco to the subliminally collected in her childhood going to sleep to all night cumbia parties going on in the reception centre behind her home, to the far reaches of the bass musics of the net.
Visuals by Hessian Jailer (Boogie Festival)
