For the inaugural DMC we are putting together an international retrospective featuring the best short films of the last decade. This program will serve to introduce Melbourne audiences to the wealth of fantastic local and international erotic cinema that has been made in recent years, most of which they have not had to opportunity to see before.

DMC is the threesome lovechild of erotic film enthusiasts Gala Vanting, Harlot Overdrive, and Louise Malcom. Gala (msgalavanting.com & www.senatefilms.com) is an internationally-recognised erotic filmmaker who very recently brought CineKink’s traveling short film program to Australia for the first time. Together with Louise, one of the co-founders and co-directors of Perv Queerotic Film Festival in Sydney, Australia (pervfilmfestival.com), and writer and sex educator, Harlot Overdrive (harlotoverdrive.com), the DMC have been created to ensure that quality erotic cinema is being seen down under, and to foster a community of dirty movie lovers.
