This month we delve into the darker side of modern electronic music with some of Melbourne’s finest producers and DJ’s.
Presenting an eclectic mix of sounds and noise with guests Chiara Kickdrum, James Walsh and Moopie Recreation Centre to us a sonic journey as well as residents Lost Few and Edenn rounding off the night.
DIY Society is a collective of artists united under ideas for the expression of alternative arts. DIY Society emerged through a thirstiness for low-end rumblings and late night dancefloor transcendence; uncompromising and sometimes uncomfortable, DIY Society unite elements of left-fringe music, performance and visual arts. A cross-contamination of style, rhythm, electronic mutation and face-aching hedonism places DIY Society on the periphery.
