Captured Australia – a national music video competition, pairing filmmakers and musicians together to create a music video or short film under 5 minutes – announces its only Melbourne event for its 2015 project.

On December 5th from 6.30pm, Loop will be screening all 7 finalist films, showcasing the videos that the finalists had approximately 7 weeks to complete, without any budget. The resulting videos – representing an electic range of genres from around the country – will surprise, amaze and excite.

Attending the Melbourne event will be representatives of the Victorian participants in the competition – which includes three Victorian filmmakers (Mohini Herse, Ashleigh Royle and Sarah Jo Fraser) and two bands (Flamingo Jones and Tully on Tully) – who will participate in a Q&A and introduce the films.

Entry is free.
