Fabiana Grimaldi is a Melbourne based dancer, teacher and choreographer. She grew up dancing in Bahia where she studied afro Brazilian dance techniques as well as contemporary and classical ballet. In Australia she graduated from the prestigious National Theatre Ballet School in 1999 becoming a professional dancer and later on graduated under the Royal Academy of Dance as an accredited teacher. Her teaching and stage experience is vast. Fabiana has performed a vast variety of dance styles. Her passion is Orixá Dances from the Yorubá tradition in Bahia. She will present 2 solos from her Ballet Folklorico repertoire.
