Join Action for Dolphins at Loop Project Space & Bar on the 13th of August for a special event celebrating local artists with a mission to save the oceans.
Non-profit, Action for Dolphins have collaborated with Loop and a series of filmmakers, photographers and other artists to bring you an exciting showcase of local talent working to raise awareness of the growing issues facing our oceans and marine life.
This will be a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals passionate about marine conservation, get to know local dolphin protection charity, Action for Dolphins, and view some incredible art for a cause. Entry is a gold-coin donation, and all profits will go directly towards the work Action for Dolphins do to protect marine life.
Action for Dolphins is a marine conservation charity based in Melbourne. We use strategic legal action and high-impact advocacy to work towards ending dolphin captivity in Australia and the dolphin hunts in Taiji, Japan. Alongside these two central goals, we are currently lobbying to remove the destructive shark nets in Northern NSW and launching a campaign against plastic waste through events such as beach clean-ups, and awareness raising.
We will be showcasing five artists including an exhibition, short film, photography works and painting.
