BEEKEEPER
Beekeeper is a series of free music concerts once a month at Loop, showcasing some of the most intriguing and talented post classical and instrumental artists around Melbourne.
7pm Free entry!.

ELECTUNDRA
Electundra is Melbourne’s audio visual underground in all its glory, combining fresh pulses and strains of electronic music with innovative screen imagery. Featuring acts such as Spoonbill/ Dropbear, Robin Fox, All India Radio/Martin Kennedy, Soteria Bell/Blake Barratt, Tim Webster, Koshowko/Martin Hansen, City Frequencies/Object State, Soul Mirage/dpwolf, Isnod and Max/River River, LBW/Joseph Barrows, Seth Rees/Guy Harris, The Spheres, Grey Skies Blue Ensemble, Foreign Birds, Because of Ghosts Duo/Jacob Pearce and Reuben Stanton, Cam Butler/Jacob Simkin, Amanaska/Simon Lewis, and Wind Up Toy/Object State. The Electundra sessions have also spawned our annual Electundra Festival on Nov 23, 30th & Dec 7, go to our website for more details.



PROCESS The Royal Australian Institute of Architects invite emerging architects to address new concepts and practical issues in contemporary architecture on the first Monday of each month. Recent presenters include Stuart Harrison, Brigette Cameron, Brandon Yeoh, Jerome Frumar, Dominique Ng, Kerstin Thompson, Ivan Rijavec, Janet McGaw, Tim Hurburgh and Mark O'Dywer.

Is Not Magazine brings you YouTube Tuesdays, with one hour of giggles, gasps and whoops provided by our friend The Internet, with
mis-typed commentary provided by the magical fingers of Jeremy Wortsman.

ANIMATION CLUB: SECRET HANDSHAKE
ANIMATION CLUB!!! presents - Secret Handshake. Each month, animators from all around the world create a short animation upon a given topic which is then screened and voted upon by the audience. The winner receives fame and glory... and gets to choose the next month's topic. All animation styles & ability levels are welcome. Just entertain us! ATTACK OF THE KILLER FAIRY PENGUINS
Urgent Public Service Announcement: Killer Fairy Penguins have once again been sighted near Melbourne. Experts advise not to stay in doors as escape is futile. The only hope of survival is to join them at Loop, for Melbourne's best night of tech-house beats. Warming up the cold winter's night will be another live performance from the Unknown Side Effects, showcasing a stack-load of new material. On DJ duties are Andy Wilson, Marc Johnstone and Harry Helix to get your head nodding and keep your feet bouncing. On the visuals is Jon Burton – he's got himself some flash new gear and is itching to use it. 11pm till late, free entry.



PITCH(B):TCH
The Pitch(b):tch crew is back again for a demonstration of DJing and VJing at its finest. You'll be promised a good dose of funked up tough electro-tek by Mo Ichi & Miyagi, plus 2 screens to perve on which knit together motion graphics & video art by VJ Neon Golden. What a party it's gonna be!!

 

IT'S YOUR THING combines turntabalism, MCing and other live acts. A mash up of funk, soul, hip-hop, rock, beats and rhymes, It's Your Thing is led by a dedicated collective including Mr. Moonshine, Sketchendry, Mikeydubwiser, IlResponce and Orfd who all work hard on the third Saturday of each month in bringing the house down.

Serving plates of carefully selected produce
designed to please the most discerning of aural gastronomes. A gourmet delight that's guaranteed to make you scratch your pants and move your feet. This is a dish best served loud, and eaten standing up. Zanda will be supplying entrées coming in all shapes of fatness - funk from deep to dusty, fun-ass hip hop and delicious grooves Mains will be served by DJ Lickweed, fulfilling all your cravings with a blend of the essential hip hop ingredients, old and new coupled with generous scratchings. The Sweet Desert is Paul's area of expertise. Martini on rocks is always accompanied by spinning platters of fresh-sliced beats and marinated electro. We hope you enjoy this culinary experience brought to you by those who know: "the best beats are pickled beats." With special guest VJ's 'Team Attack'!!!
